Dilley computers are in Austin while a hacking investigation is underway.

Soon after the police chief, four officers and two city employees resigned in Dilley, city officials started reporting problems with their computers.

They say someone was hacking into their system so the Texas Rangers stepped in to investigate last month.

The good news now is that city leaders say they are getting back on their feet.

The new police chief, Albert De Leon, was hired on September 26. He says  they now have five officers on the force, and they will be hiring three more.

City officials are waiting for the Texas Rangers to finish their report on the hacking investigation to learn who was responsible.
