It's really cramped quarters for Jessica and Eric Bermudez and their kids. They contracted with Luis Rodriguez of HD Restoration to add several rooms to their home. The cost was supposed to be a little more than $24,000. But, about halfway into the project, Rodriguez started asking for money because he misquoted the estimate, said Jessica. Rodriguez was asking for twice as much money as his bid, she said.
