SAN ANTONIO -- Detectives are searching for stolen credit cards that disappeared from a vehicle parked outside of a Gold's Gym in northeast Bexar County.

Authorities say the suspect was spotted using the stolen credit cards at two different Academy Sports locations and at a local Target store.

"They purchased some gift cards from Academy and also went to a different Academy and actually used those gift cards," said Det. Louis Antu.

Detectives say the man's shopping spree started on July 15 when he was seen on surveillance video at an Academy store. The suspect was wearing a long-sleeve white shirt, black shorts and a Dallas Cowboys hat.

Hours later the man showed up at another Academy Sports store - this time he wore a white t-shirt and was seen with a young boy.

Then on August 12, the same man was captured on surveillance cameras at a local Target store. Investigators say he purchased several iPads with the stolen cards.

The man then drove off in a black compact four-door sedan.

Those with information are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP.
