SEATTLE -- Take a look at this terrifying moment captured on tape. A window washer fell eight stories in downtown Seattle -- and survived.
The man was washing windows high up on the Broadacres Building when he fell. A rope he was wearing caught on something and stopped his fall just in the nick of time.
A security camera caught the unbelievable scene.
Fire crews say the window washer, 34-year old Eduardo Lozada, stopped just inches short of slamming into the ground. Afterwards, Lozada was conscious and even talking.
Witnesses were stunned he survived, with his only injury being a broken pinky finger.
Looking closely at the video, though, it appears as though Lozada's legs actually hit the ground.
Emergency crews say the window washer was resilient. He was treated at the hospital, and then released.
