Justin Bieber dropped by New York's Ed Sullivan Theater for a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman on the heels of releasing his newest album.
Letterman learned of Bieber's newest tattoo and pounced at the opportunity to probe Bieber as to why he wants tattoos. Things escalated when Letterman grabbed Bieber's arm and pretended to make an attempt at removing the new tattoo.

While Bieber fans blew up Twitter, publishing their 140-character or less rage at Letterman's actions, the fun continued for Letterman.
Bieber appeared unfamiliar with the Sistine Chapel, calling it the "Sixteenth Chapel."
