Free meals for local kids served up all summer

If you are looking for a way to feed the kids this summer, the San Antonio Food Bank is providing free lunches school aged kids ages 1 to 18.

 The Summer Food Service Program  dishes up meals Mondays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. David's Episcopal Church at 901 Canterbury Hill in Terrell Hills.

Jerry Kirkpatrick, parish administrator at St. David's said kids just need to show up to get the free food, no ID is required.

St. David's is one of several locations around town that are providing free meals to school-aged children. To find a place near you, go to www.safoodbank.org.
