Local bakery Choco Patisserie recently competed in the Food Networks Cupcake Wars (airing August 16 at 7p.m.). Now they're bringing their skills to the Saturday morning show to give our hosts a crash course in gourmet cupcakery.
These little desserts have recently risen to cult popularity in the past few years. It's not uncommon to see cupcake trucks, cupcake wedding cakes, cupcake treats at wine parties and more. Yes, these baked goods are no longer just for kids.
