NEW BRAUNFELS -- People of all ages came together Thursday evening in New Braunfels to remember 15-year-old Logan Davidson, who was tragically killed after police said he was assaulted at school.

Authorities said Davidson was punched twice, knocked unconscious and at some point hit his head on the wall outside the classroom. Davidson was airlifted to University Hospital, but died Wednesday evening.

Picture a ball of energy, a little puppy that you can't slow down, that's our boy Logan, said Mitchell Davidson, the uncle of Logan.

Mitchell said the family is struggling with the unexpected death of the teenager, especially since there's no explanation of how, or why it happened.

Obviously it was a traumatic injury, it cost him his life, there's no answers we've been searching for answers the past two days and there are none, said Mitchell.

Mitchell said what is helping the family cope is the outpouring support from the community.

I know Logan would be amazed, there's literally thousand of thousands of people that are emailing us, telling us how much they loved him and praying for him, I think that is a testament to what a fine young man he is, said Mitchell.

Thursday evening the support continued. A group of local mothers called Moms of New Braunfels, gathered downtown to place red and white ribbons all over town in memory of Logan.

There's so much speculation as to what happened at Canyon High. It doesn't matter what happened we're all just coming together for Logan and this is a visual reminder of what happened and to show our support, said Kelsey Harrison of Mom of New Braunfels.

I hope that they'll look at this and just think of the families and pray for their healing, said April Keller, who helped tie ribbons across downtown.

Police have arrested a 15-year-old suspect and so far they're charging him with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. Investigators said they are also reviewing video evidence of the incident.
