A drunk driving suspect was arrested Saturday morning after leading authorities on a high-speed chase.

Patrol officers said at around 2:30 a.m. they spotted the driver of a maroon Ford-F150 driving erratically, hitting curbs along Hwy. 90 near W.Military Drive.

When they tried to pull the suspect over, he allegedly took off, leading them on a chase. Officers said at times he hit speeds of about 100 mph.

The chase continued all the way to Theo, near I-35 where the suspect crashed his truck in a front yard.

Then the suspect reportedly fled on foot. Police caught up with him just a few houses down. They said they had to use a stun gun to apprehend the suspect.

He is now facing charges of DWI and evading arrest.
