SAN ANTONIO -- Investigators say they are still trying to find the man responsible for shooting a man through the eye outside a northwest-side nightclub.

Andre Hicks had recently returned home to work at a restaurant after serving in the U.S. Air Force for a year, San Antonio police said.

On March 31, he was shot once in the head while police said he was trying to break up a fight outside a nightclub at Loop 1604 and NW Military Drive.

Hicks was recently released from the hospital, but was left blind.

Eyewitnesses told police the suspect fled in a white Cadillac.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.
