Hours after the IBC Bank was robbed, San Antonio police nabbed three men they believe are responsible.
The three suspects were arrested Friday night in connection to two recent San Antonio bank robberies, but more charges may result from an investigation.
Police said Daniel Garza, Shane Rhodes and Taylor Glisson were involved in robbing a Comerica Bank in the 600 block of NW Loop 410 on Thursday.
The three suspects are also suspects in an IBC Bank holdup that took place in the 1500 block of NELoop 410 near Wurzbach at around 6 p.m. Friday.
Following the Friday robbery officers gathered suspect and vehicle descriptions and found they matched up with information the Robbery Task Force had gathered.
Hours after the robbery, police set up surveillance on a location the trio was known to frequent.
The supects pulled into the Warren Inn, where they were observed along with several other men. Police said when Daniel Garza left in a black SUV, he was followed and arrested at a traffic stop.
According to authorities, a handgun, cash and other evidence were in plain sight during the arrest.
Police also said that a subsequent search of the suspect's hotel room uncovered more evidence linking the suspects to the bank robberies.
It is possible, investigators say, that all three suspects may have been involved in at least six additional robberies in the area.
For now, Garza, Rhodes an Glisson are facing two counts of aggravated robbery of the IBC and Comerica banks.
