The Dixie Flag Company in San Antonio made the 90 feet by 60 foot American flag for this year's September 11 observance at the World Trade Center in New York City.

This is the second time the company has provided a flag for 9/11, and owner Pete Van de Putte says he's honored to be a part of the ceremony.

This flag though probably more than any other individual flag, carries more emotion in it for more people in this country and I think indeed in this world, Van de Putte said.

That largest flag ever produced by the company was 300 feet by 150 feet, and was made for the Alamo Bowl.
