Bexar County Sheriff's deputies said a 16-year-old boy was shot in the buttocks during a party at his house in the 1300 block of West Knoll.
The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Bexar County Sheriff's deputies said several uninvited guests showed up to the party and started an argument.
At one point during the fight, one of the uninvited guest pulled out a gun and started shooting.
The 16-year-old throwing the party was shot in the rear end.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooter and his friends took off from the scene.
The boy's parent werehome in an upstairs bedroom.
Deputies said the parents were unaware of the party.
No arrests have been made.
