It s the last weekend before Fiesta, so you might be thinking you want to take it easy...But San Antonio won t stand for that, my friends. The events this weekend are too many to list in one post, but here are my top five picks.

If you have teenagers in middle or high school, take some time this weekend to go see Bully together. The movie opens Friday night at Santikos Palladium. This is a not-to-be-missed documentary about an issue we can t afford to ignore. Go. See. Talk.

Then, over the weekend, head on over to Poteet for the Poteet Strawberry Festival. It s one of the oldest, most popular events in Texas and can boast its standing as the largest agricultural festival in the state. If strawberries are sweet, this festival is sweeter. They ve got country western stars, gunslingers, clowns, puppets, bands, contests, and rodeo performances.

If you want to stay closer to town, let the outdoors inspire your artistic side at the Blossoms & Blooms art festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. 8 p.m. at the Inspire Community Fine Arts Center. It s a day full of fun, food, music, arts, crafts, and more. This event is free and open to the public- so bring the whole family out to play.

If you love music, SeaWorld is hosting their first ever Just For Kids event on Saturday, featuring a concert with Choo Choo Soul. Try out the kid-sized rides and soak up the fun at Shamu s Party Zone. Dance, splash, and enjoy being young, or at least young-at-heart.

Don t forget the 8th Annual Walk for Autism is Saturday at the AT&T Center. Register online to be a part of the Guinness World Record-setting walk. Show your support and take steps to raise awareness. Head out to the kids zone where there will be lots of fun kids activities to enjoy for everyone.

If you just can t decide what to do this weekend, try this classic problem solver: write down your options on separate scraps of paper, mix them up in a hat and make someone draw from it. Your schedule will make itself! Or you can just check out the SABusyKids Event Calendar for a more complete look at your weekend options.
