SAN ANTONIO -- Police say a 15-year-old stabbed his neighbor on Sunday night during a scuffle over payment for a haircut.
The victim was bleeding from a cut to the forearm and several cuts to the stomach when San Antonio police said they arrived at his home in the 4100 block of El Paso Street around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
The victim told officers that he was giving his 15-year-old neighbor a haircut, as he has many times before, and asked for $5 in payment.
Unhappy with his haircut, the boy refused to pay, police said, and asked the victim to fix his hair.
The victim became angry and allegedlybegan choked the boy. Police said that's when the boy pulled out a knife and swung it at the victim, cutting him in the arm.
Police said the boy was taken to Bexar County juvenile and will be charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim was treated for minor injuries and arrested on two felony warrants.
