Outside Our Lady of the Guadalupe, Domonique Ramirez stood with pride after a jury decided the beauty queen can regain her crown and the title of Miss San Antonio.
I feel great. I left it up in God's hands, and that's why I felt I had to come here first, Ramirez said.
She had been stripped of her tiara when Miss Bexar County Organization officials said she was late to appearances, insubordinate and didn't maintain her weight.
But Ramirez told KENS 5 she holds no ill feelings toward the organization and is ready to start working.
I'm not the type of person who can not put feelings aside, she said. Things that were said aside, that shouldnt be an issue now. I mean, we should be able to move forward. We're not going to stay in the past. It's about moving forward and trying to be a success for both parties.
Ramirez said she would also like to share the crown with Ashley Dixon, the first runner-up who wore the tiara for the past few weeks while Ramirez was in court.
The next step for Ramirez is to prepare forthe Miss Texas competition.
