SAN ANTONIO -- Police say a drunken father stabbed his son for selling their PlayStation to a pawn shop earlier in the day.
Antonio Perez, 54, was allegedly angry at his 26-year-old son all day Friday and, after several hours of drinking, decided to confront his son at a friend's house in the 400 block of San Blas.
San Antonio police said Perez showed around 2 a.m. Saturday and started arguing with his son. The argument turned physical, police said, at which point the son was stabbed in the upper back.
The son was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
Perez was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Officers noted that the PlayStation was also the family's Blu Ray player.
