SAN ANTONIO - For the second time in less than 10 months a nurse has been attacked in a parking lot at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital downtown.

On Saturday morning, a nurse was walking to her car in the visitor's parking lot when, according to police, a naked man jumped on her, attempting to sexually assault her. The nurse fought back and managed to escape, running back into the hospital. The hospital says the nurse suffered no physical injuries in the attack.

Saturday's attack comes less than a year after another nurse was attacked at the downtown hospital. In Augusts' attack the nurse was walking through the hospital's employee parking garage when she was assaulted. So far no suspects have been arrested in wither case.

Following the August attack, the hospital added more security cameras and lights, even offering employees escorts to their cars; the nurse attacked Saturday morning was walking alone.

Christus Santa Rosa says it is reviewing all of its security measures and considering adding even more lights and cameras to help prevent further attacks.

In the meantime, San Antonio Police are searching for suspects. Officers would not speculate as to if the two assaults are related or if it might be the same suspect in both cases.

Anyone with information in either assault is asked to call SAPD at (210) 207-7273.
