SAN ANTONIO -- Driving in San Antonio is expensive. A new study out says we have the worst streets in the state -and among the worst in the country. The study shows about 40 percent of San Antonio's major metropolitan roads are in poor condition.

The research shows the average motorist spends $400 a year because of the poorly paved roadways.
