He used to be a law enforcement officer. But not anymore.

On Thursday morning, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Attorney General's Office assisted Sabinal police in arresting an officer accused of possession with intent to promote child pornography.

Until then, Jason Villasana worked at the Sabinal Police Department as a full-time patrolman. He had been on probation since August 14.

But shortly after his arrest, he was terminated from his position.

Villasana is being held on a $900,000 bond.

Sabinal PD said the department and the community are in shock.
