SAN ANTONIO -- Saturday, the Bexar County medical examiner released the name of a motorcyclist who was killed in a wreck involving four vehicles in south San Antonio.
The fatal accident happened Thursday night, in the 2500 block of Southcross Blvd., just before 11.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Juan Moreno Lopez, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office.
Witnesses at the scene told police they saw two drivers racing and weaving in and out of traffic.
At one point, someone inside the vehicle even threw a beer bottle at the man riding his motorcycle, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Police said the vehicle then struck the motorcycle, causing the rider to hit another car, which then forced a fourth vehicle to crash on the curb.
The motorcyclist reportedly flew off his bike and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the driver who crashed into a curb was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in stable condition.
