Stationed at Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston, the 201st Military Intelligence Battalion spent the last year in Afghanistan providing support to US and Afghan coalition forces. Those soldiers arrived back in San Antonio this weekend for an emotional reunion with their loved ones.

Krystal Hunt knows what it s like to be deployed, she s a soldier herself, but this time she s on the other side. Late Saturday evening she could be seeing biting her nails and anxiously waiting for her husband First Sgt. Jason Hunt.

I know what it s like to be over there and it s a lot harder being on this side because you re not over there to know what s going on. You re just sitting here wondering what s going on, said Hunt.

One challenge her husband would have to deal with while overseas is missing out on time to watch his kids grow up.

All four of our kids they re at that age where they re about as tall as me, so they ve all grown within the last six months, said Hunt.

Finally, dozens of brave men and women walked into the room where their families were waiting for them late Saturday night. It was a special moment as dozens of families were reunited.

I m really happy to be home with my wonderful kids and beautiful wife, said Hunt.
