SAN ANTONIO -- Approximately 10 million Mexican free-tailed bats are scheduled to make their internet debut Wednesday.

Bat Conservation International's recently installed 'Braken webcam' is set to go live Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at 6:30 p.m., according to a press release issued by the organization. For the first time, locals and people across the globe can witness the bats emerge from the Bracken Cave through a live-feed provided on the conservation's website .

The bats begin to surface around 7:30 p.m., Central time, according to the conservation group.

The free-tailed bats will be migrating south for the winter in a few weeks. The final public tour at Bracken will be led on Sept. 20, 2013.
