SANANTONIO -- On Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at 7:30 a.m., 9-year-old Spencer Pratt departed from the San Antonio International Airport for a fun-filled week in Orlando, Fla.

The young boy from Canyon Lake embarked on a 'dream vacation' sponsored by the Something mAAgic Foundation, according to a press release issued by the organization.

The 'mAAgic flight' is an annual event sponsored by the organization that sends children with life-threatening medical conditions on unforgettable family trips. For many families, this out-of-town visit is the only trip they get to take that doesn't involve doctors and hospitals.

The Something mAAgic Foundation has supported more than 400 children from all over the world for the past 18 years, according to the press release.

Pratt's family said all of Spencer's siblings suffer from medical conditions.
