SAN ANTONIO -- Spurs forward Tim Duncan has been named the NBA s Western Conference Player of the Week.

It's the 21st time he has earned the honor in his career, the team said. Duncan averaged 22.0 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.25 blocks in 34.5 minutes per game as the Spurs went 3-1 last week.

Duncan currently leads the team with eight double-doubles and is tied for fourth in the NBA in that category. He is the NBA leader with 739 career double-doubles among active players.

Nov. 19 vs. L.A. Clippers: Recorded 20 points, a game-high 14 rebounds and 2 blocks as the Spurs fell to the 87-92 to the Clippers.

Nov. 21 @ Boston: Tallied 20 points, a game-high 15 rebounds and 4 assists during a 112-100 win over the Celtics.

Nov. 23 @ Indiana: Scored 22 points and brought down a game-high 17 rebounds as the Spurs bested the Pacers 104-97.

Nov. 25 @ Toronto: Finished with 26 points, a season-high 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks as the Silver and Black outlasted the Raptors 111-106.
