Spurs fan Mark Henry welcomes Rockets mascot to the Hall of Pain

SAN ANTONIO - Mark Henry is Texan through and through. Born in Silsbee, Texas, Henry, who at one point was declared the world's strongest man, loves the Texas Longhorns and San Antonio Spurs.

And Monday night, during Game 2 of the Spurs series against the Houston Rockets, Henry came to the rescue of San Antonio's beloved mascot, The Coyote.

While several videos showing the encounter have circulated on social media, the best comes from the Houston Chronicle's Facebook page:

I'm not gonna lie, I always thought Henry was a Rockets fan if anything. He's always been a big supporter of the Texas Longhorns, often showing up to games in Austin or Dallas. But he's from Silsbee, which is way out in East Texas.

Glad to know he's a Spurs fan.

The sketch that he participated in is very similar to one that Shawn Michaels did in December of 2009 before the TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view at the AT&T Center.

The Heartbreak kid is on the Mount Rushmore of Spurs fans along with George Strait and Selena Gomez. The fact that Michaels grew up in San Antonio, his music is cooler, and he actually delivered his Sweet Chin Music finisher may never be topped by any WWE superstar supporting the Silver and Black.

But it was pretty cool to see Henry come out as a Spurs fan in this series.
