It's been a year since Duncan retired, what's Timmy been up to?

SAN ANTONIO – It’s been a year since Spurs legend Tim Duncan retired from basketball.

So what does a five-time NBA champion, two-time NBA MVP, and NBA Rookie of the Year do when he’s not sporting the Silver and Black on the court? We looked into it.

From focusing on his business to charities to his kids, Timmy has kept busy these last 365 days.

Daddy Duty

Already a father of two, Duncan welcomed another baby girl in March. People fell in love with her name, Quill, after the comic book fanatic revealed it on “Road Trippin’ with RJ & Channing” hosted by Cleveland Cavaliers Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye.

San Antonians have even spotted the doting dad around town. In June, one Twitter user snapped a shot of the 19-year NBA veteran buying a box of Pampers at a local CVS.

Celebrity Status

From commercials to movie spots, Duncan hasn’t really shied away from the spotlight. In October, Duncan was welcomed into the Spurs Retirement Club by other San Antonio legends in an H-E-B commercial. In January, Timmy made his way back into fans homes with his limited edition ‘Slam Duncan O’s’ cereal from H-E-B.

But H-E-B commercials aren’t the only thing Timmy has starred in. He even makes a cameo in an NBA and Spider-Man: Homecoming crossover ad that aired during the NBA Finals. In the ad, Spider-Man (Tom Holland) is given a task by Tony Stark's bodyguard (Jon Favreau) to get Tim Duncan some food. The advertisement ends with Holland completing the task and then chilling with Duncan on a couch watching the NBA Finals.

Still a Spurs fan

Even though the Spurs retired his number in December, Duncan is still very much a part of Spurs Nation. Duncan made a few appearances at Spurs practices during the regular season and the NBA playoffs. In September, he was seen at practices shooting with Manu Ginobili and chatting with his former coaches.

Duncan made another appearance in May after the Spurs fell to the Golden State Warriors, 136-100, during Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. At practice, he was seen talking with several key players like Patty Mills and LaMarcus Aldridge.

While this past year hasn’t been the same watching Timmy take the court as number 21, retirement sure does look good on him!
