Reagan Rattlers going for state title after semifinal win on Friday

The Reagan Rattlers exploded to break an early tie and win the state semifinal going away, beating Round Rock 7-1 at the Dell Diamond on Friday.

Make it eight in a row for the Reagan Rattlers as they dispatched the home team Round Rock Dragons in Round Rock at the Dell Diamond 7-1.

Reagan will play for their first state championship on Saturday. First pitch against Deer Park is at 4 p.m.

Rattlers starting pitcher Jake Hoggatt allowed eight hits, but sprinkled them throughout the game, only allowing one run to score.

Seth Morrow was the big bat for Reagan as he came a homer short of the cycle and drove in three runners in the game.
