It's the beginning of free agent signing for the San Antonio Spurs -- and Wednesday they made it official: Tim Duncan will be a Spur for life.
"Tim has meant the world to the franchise and to all the players that have played with him, the coaches who have gotten to coach him, and the fans who have gotten to experience his career," said Spurs general manager, R.C. Buford. "He led us to a very, very good season this year."
