SAN ANTONIO -- Johnson and MacArthur high schools played out the final quarter of their football game on Monday night after a bomb threat emptied the stadium over the weekend.

The final score of the game was Johnson 24, MacArthur 10.

On Saturday night, thousands of fans packed Commalander Stadium as Johnson led the game 17-3. Then somebody called in a bomb threat.

On Friday, just under 100 fans dotted the bleachers. No snacks were sold at the concession stands. No bands played. Very few cheerleaders were on the sidelines.

Despite the difference in atmosphere, fans at Monday's game said the final quarter was great.

Police are still trying to determine who was behind the bomb scare on Saturday night.

The scare also interrupted Churchill High School's homecoming dance, which was taking place inside a gymnasium near Commalander Stadium. The dance has not yet been rescheduled.
