SAN ANTONIO - Former Dallas Cowboys receiver Sam Hurd was arrested at a YMCA in San Antonio Thursday for allegedly violating the terms of his bond, previously set by the United States District Court in Dallas.

A release from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force said Hurd was taken into custody without issue for allegedly failing a drug test for marijuana. He was arrested as he exited his vehicle in the YMCA parking lot.

Hurd was arrested last December in Chicago and indicted on two counts for allegations involving conspiracy and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. He was released on a $100,000 cash bond pending trial on October 9.
