IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboy Roy Williams appreciates all the criticism and questions.
Some have wondered out loud if Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made the right move acquiring Williams to be the lead receiver for Dallas.
Williams says when people say he can't get the job done -- it makes him want to go out there and prove them wrong.
Jones gave up four draft picks, including first- and third-rounders this year, to get Williams from the Detroit Lions midway through last season.
Then Williams got a $45 million, five-year extension through the 2013 season before even catching his first pass from Tony Romo.
Williams caught five passes for 36 yards in the pre-season home opener last Friday night, after one catch for 12 yards in the first game at Oakland.
The 1-1 Cowboys on Saturday night will host San Francisco in an exhibition game.
