SAN ANTONIO -- Dallas Cowboys receiver Roy Williams missed practice because of a sore left wrist and his status was uncertain.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Williams was having X-rays and an MRI on the wrist Sunday afternoon.

Jones said Williams hurt his wrist when he came down hard during Sunday morning practice and he was sore when he returned in the afternoon.

With the departure of Terrell Owens, Williams is expected to the Cowboys No. 1 receiver this season.
