Fans create petition to remove Horry from SA Hall of Fame after comments

SAN ANTONIO - Some Spurs fans are trying to disown a Silver and Black Hall of Famer for comments he made about Tim Duncan.

Robert Horry went on ESPN's ‘The Jump’ where he said Hakeem Olajuwon was 20 times better than Tim Duncan. He also called out Manu Ginobli during the segment.

Some Spurs fans created a petition to remove the former Spurs Forward from the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame. Horry played for the Spurs from 2003 to 2008.

The petition states, “After Robert Horry's recent, & ridiculous comments on San Antonio Legends, & future Hall of Famers Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, & Gregg Popovic, Robert Horry is no longer the type of person that deserves to be represented in our cities hall of fame. The comments showed he has no class, & have absolutely no relevance.”

The petition’s goal is 1,000 signatures.
