DALLAS — Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach said Monday night that he believes North Texas will get another Super Bowl.
He doesn't think that Super Bowl L will be here, but he said he if he were guessing, it would be after L but before Super Bowl LIII. Super Bowl XLVI will be in Indianapolis next month.
Staubach made the comments in North Dallas, where members of Super Bowl VI gathered to celebrate.
It was 40 years ago Monday that the Cowboys and legendary coach Tom Landry won their first Super Bowl.
Landry's favorite charity was the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, so funds raised Monday went to that charity.
