Instead of watching at work, some men are getting vasectomies and watching the NCAA tournament from the comfort of their own homes.
Urologists across the country say the number of scheduled vasectomies tends to jump by 50 percent during the first week of the tournament.
The surgery not only gives the men a legitimate way to get out of work, but they also have a reason to stop working on those honey-do lists. Doctors recommend they spend at least 24 to 48 hours resting.
The trend isn't isolated to the NCAA tournament, though.
Doctors say they've noticed a similar jump in surgeries just before the Super Bowl, too.
