Connecticut forward Maya Moore has become the seventh unanimous choice on The Associated Press' preseason All-America team.

She is joined by UConn center Tina Charles, marking the fifth time teammates have been selected to the preseason team, which started in 1994-95. Jayne Appel of Stanford, Jantel Lavender of Ohio State and Monica Wright of Virginia round out the squad selected by a national media panel.

Moore was one vote short of being a unanimous choice last preseason. She helped UConn to a 39-0 record last season, averaging 19.3 points and 8.9 rebounds. The Huskies also had the last pair of teammates on the preseason team when Shea Ralph and Svetlana Abrosimova headlined the 2000-01 squad.
