SAN ANTONIO -- The Spurs summer offseason started earlier than anticipated, but that doesn't mean the Silver-and-Black are gone till November. With Tony Parker's random eye injury this week in a New York City nightclub, the upcoming Summer Olympics in London and the July 1 beginning of NBA free agency, you're going to frequently see the Spurs in the headlines. Hopefully, for all the right reasons.
Here's a look at how the Spurs are spending their summer.
Manu's headed to London like Tony, Boris, Tiago and Patty with the same objective - winning an Olympic Gold Medal. On a personal note, I'm looking forward to reading Manu's tweets as he visits the sights and sounds of London. Manu's always an interesting tweeter.
