From congested four lane bottle neck to winding country highway - Loop 1604 is a 95.6 mile circle through some of San Antonio's most populated areas. But traveling past the annoying stop lights on the city's northwest side lies an adventure through some charming South Texas towns and the opportunity to meet some friendly folks just off the beaten path.
