PHOTOS: Lapping up love at Alamo City Cluster of Dogs

There was a lot of pooch-primping at the Freeman Coliseum this week. The Alamo Cluster of Dog Shows and the Alamo City Pet Expo were held in the Expo Hall March 8 - 12. I have to say you couldn't meet a cleaner, friendlier or more low-key group of dogs. You could pull up a chair next to a pet owner and they would happily converse with you about breeds like the Great Dane, Schnauzer, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and the Berger Picard (there are only about 400 of this French breed in America) while the dogs lapped up a pat and a ruffle of appreciation for outstanding behavior...and charm!
