The San Antonio River Authority hosted the Bloom Boom Wildflower Festival Saturday in honor of...wildflowers, of course - and the Mission Reach trails along the River Walk. Neighbors enjoyed guided hikes, drum circles, face-painting, hoola-hoops, food trucks from Cheesy Jane's and Conger's Smoke Stack, plus fresh juice from The Lemonade Co. Performers from Radio Disney were also on hand. SARA reps say next Saturday, May 19, another leg of the Mission Reach will be opened beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Mission Road Pavilion. Everyone is invited to join in for the inaugural walk. Look for another stretch to be opened up around Labor Day. Completion of the entire project is slated for the end of 2013.
