PHOTOS: Dachshunds dash, dally at Boerne Berges Fest

In celebration of Boerne's heritage, men clad in lederhosen stomped around Berges Fest over the weekend as visitors relished in German food, beer, music and inventive contests. On Sunday, June 17, 2012, children competed in miniature tractor races. Afterward, it was time for the wiener dogs to take the track. Spectators howled as the dachshund dashed and dallied to their owners at the finish line.
