San Antonio Weather Summary: 75 degrees
CHARLESTON, S.C. - Long before Alexis 'Lexi' Greenleaf married Terran Travis under the bright corona of a solar eclipse, she had a conversation with her father about the convenient location of the family home, The Borough House Plantation.
"We can get married under an eclipse that is happening right over your house?" he asked. And the idea for a once-in-a-lifetime photo-op was born.
Southwest Airlines Passengers from Denver to Atlanta got a high altitude view of the total eclipse from 37,000 feet, spending almost an hour-and-a-half in narrow eclipse track.
Since San Antonio only got a partial eclipse, KENS 5's Joe Baker jumped in the car and headed north to see the real thing!
GREENVILLE, SC – It's a historic total solar eclipse and for the babies born on August 21 the day is even sweeter.
The next total solar eclipse in the U.S. will be in 2024. The next coast-to-coast one will not be until 2045.
The International Space Station just photo-bombed the eclipse.
It's never to early to plan ahead, apparently.
