SAN ANTONIO -- An enraged woman allegedly surprised her victim in the shower and cut off a chunk of his hair before stabbing him with a pair of scissors, police say.
Tamra Towery, 22, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following Wednesday's attack, according to a San Antonio police arrest affidavit.
Investigators said they arrested Towery after police responded to the 9600 block of Lindrith and found the victim bleeding from stab wounds in the chest, arm, elbow and hand.
The victim told officers he was showering when Towery walked in with a large pair of scissors, chopped off a chunk of his hair and attacked him with the blades.
According to the arrest document, she also tried stabbing him in the face but did not succeed.
Police said the victim asked the scissor-wielding suspect to leave after the attack. She allegedly grabbed the keys to his vehicle and left.
The victim then called police to report the attack.
Towery was later arrested but has since been freed on a $50,000 bond, according to records.
