SAN ANTONIO -- A man and woman who were looking to buy a flat screen television were carjacked by the so-called sellers early Thursday morning, police say.

San Antonio police said the couple met at the Taco Cabana at Theo and I-35 with two men who were going to sell them the television for $200.

The couple, who met the alleged sellers through friends, said they saw the television in the back seat of the sellers' Buick. However, the men said they wanted to close out the deal at another location.

Both parties drove to the 100 block of Big Foot, where one of the would-be sellers allegedly got out of his vehicle with a .357 magnum and forced the victims out of their black 2008 Nissan Sentra.

One of the suspects allegedly drove away in the victims' vehicle while the other drove away in the tan or silver Buick he had been driving.

The two victims ran to a nearby house for help but police were unable to locate the suspects as of Thursday morning.
