SAN ANTONIO -- Two men are dead and a third is clinging to life after a Tuesday afternoon shooting at a used car dealership.
Bexar County detectives are trying to piece together what brought on the sudden, rapid gunfire at the dealership in the 5300 block of N. Foster Road.
The deceased were identified as Larry Williams and Steven McGowen.
Sobbing family members looked for answers. Some were angered by the lack of information at the active crime scene.
Witnesses told investigators there were 7 to 10 shots that rang out just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The two men, one of them the operator of the King's Used Car lot, were discovered shot to death while seated at a game of dominoes under a car port.
A third man was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center. Deputies said he is expected to survive.
Deputies are unsure of what sparked the violence.
Witnesses say they didn't hear any argument before the gunfire erupted.
The Sheriff''s Office is looking for a dark green, or possibly black, sedan, possibly a Toyota or a Honda Accord and two black suspects who were seen fleeing the scene and heading south toward I-10.
During the course of the investigation, Judson ISD reportedly put three schools under lockdown.
They said Wagner High School, Paschall Elementary and Candlewood Elementary were closed for about an hour after district authorities heard the suspects were headed in their general direction.
At the time, about 150 students were taking EOC tests at Wagner. Students at Candlewood were participating in Adventure Club, and Paschall was closed for the day.
The lock down was lifted at 4 p.m. after SAPD and the Bexar County Sheriff's Office assured school officials that the suspects had left the area.
