San Antonio police said they were searching for two men who shot a woman at her apartment on the city's south side late Monday night.

The shooting happened in the 2900 block of Roosevelt Boulevard around 10:30 p.m.

Investigators said the two men were looking for the 42-year old victim's husband because he allegedly owed them $50 for drugs he was supposed to sell.

The woman allegedly argued with the men at the front door before trying to close the door. Police said that's when one of the men pulled out a handgun and shot through the door several times.

The victim was hit in the forearm. She was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Her husband was asleep in another room during the incident.

Police are looking for a Hispanic male and a white male, both in the early 20s. They were last seen driving off in a white Dodge Neon.

If you have any information, you're asked to call police.
