SAN ANTONIO -- Police have arrested a shoplifting suspect accused of punching and using pepper spray on a store manager during her getaway.
According to a San Antonio police arrest affidavit, Patrice Boston, 23, and two other women were suspected of shoplifting from the 99 Cents Store in the 5400 block of Walzem in May.
When confronted by the store manager, Boston allegedly punched him in the face and then sprayed him with pepper spray before running away.
Police said the store manager was able to grab Boston's purse, which was filled with store items.
Boston was arrested over the weekend and taken to the Bexar County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
