Esmeralda Trejo, 22, was arrested Sunday after allegedly leaving her kids alone while she went out to a bar.
According to her arrest warrant, Trejo's roommate came home at 12:30 a.m. and found Trejo's two young daughters, ages 4 and 5, home alone.
The roommate told police she called Trejo and asked about her whereabouts.
Investigators said Trejo told her roomate she would be home shortly, but she never returned.
The roommate said her calls and texts to Trejo went unanswered.
Police were called Sunday just before 11 a.m. when Trejo still had not returned home.
Trejo is facing two charges of abandoning and endangering a child. Her bond has been set at $10,000.
