SAN ANTONIO -- On September 11, 2001, they were only seven or eight years old and barely old enough to comprehend the horrific images of terrorist attacks plastered on television. They watched as their teachers tried to protect them from the initial news. They waited innocently as their parents wrestled with the job of explaining what had happened in a way they could understand.
A group of 14 seniors at San Antonio's Communications Arts High School have picked up a pen and journaled their memories of that day. Click through the photo slideshow to read how the terrorist attacks of 9/11 changed these students.
